Maria Ruth Groves, 84 of Hemet, California passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California. she was born Monday, March 3, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Pablo and Rosenda Meza. At a very early age she had a knack for investment and business. At age 17 she helped her father plan and build homes in Mexico. She was a single mother of two beautiful children, Maria loved to read and was known to read the news paper cover to cover including the financial pages. She loved to visit estate sales and garden where she grew vegetables. Maria loved animals especially birds and her dog GiGi. She was a collector of elephants because she believed they brought her good luck. Her family describes her as a strong, courageous, tenuous, and loving women. She was always on the go with projects at home. Surviving are daughters, Lilia Cesena (Greg) and Irene Groves (Derrick Mclntosh) Brothers, Ramiro Meza (Mary) and Alejandro Meza, sisters, Paulina Harrington (Bill) and Amalia Meza (Marco Ruiz); 6 Grand children; 3 great grand children.
