He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Bertha Crossland, his 2 sisters, Marie Lewis of Southgate, California and Juanita Falls of Mene, Arkansas and his parents, Ona and Winnie Crossland of Fort Smith.
Marvin is survived by his two sons, Marvin Crossland, Jr. and Donald Crossland; daughter, Brenda Withey; brother, Richard Crossland; 9 grandchildren, Jason Crossland of Eugene, OR, Joshua Crossland (Kayla) of Kingman, AZ, Drew Crossland (Cherry) of Lake Elsinore, Lindsey Babcock (Steven) of Kingman, Nancy Crossland of Salem, OR, Nicole Crossland, Sarah Withey and Emily Withey of Corona, Jonathan Crossland of Corona; and 3 great-grandchildren, Travian Crossland, Jeremiah Crossland and Peyton Babcock.
A resident of Norwalk for more than 40 years, he was an avid bicycle rider, riding 3,000 miles per year. Marvin was devoted to his family and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved helping people and was loved by everyone. He was the best neighbor anyone could ask for.
