Sending you my deepest condolences and sympathy, but sent with a smile at the thought of Mary Ceballos. I knew her as Rosemary's beloved mother and Maria and Angie's dear grandma. I know how much she meant to them and all her children and grandchildren and to her whole big, beautiful family. I know that her family always meant the world to her, every day and in every way. I remember her in her kitchen and at birthday and baby shower celebrations. I remember her sweet laugh and strength of character. She certainly leaves a legacy that reflects that character. She will be missed here in this earthly realm...

I only got to meet Grandma Mary once in person and I knew that I was just one of the many, many grandchildren that she had, but she still made me feel like I was so special to her and loved by her. She was an amazing, sweet, loving, strong, angelic woman who lived a full life. She will be missed, but I know she is happy and she will continue to watch over us all from heaven!

I'll miss you Grandma but your love will always be a guiding light for me. I love you,

Tony, it is heart warming to see pictures of your family and read the messages to Mary. She was a beautiful woman with a soul that seems to have been just as beautiful. I'm sure her warmth will live on in your hearts and the stories shared of her. My condolences to you and your loved ones.

This was taken two years ago at Grandma's Birthday party. I miss her so much that I can't 
...well that I just can't. She was the last one. My Mom, then Dad. She was the last one my last parent that was there at the very beginning, who watched me grow to who I am now. Always since I could remember her's was a constant presance. When I was little and I came over, most times I didn't go out and play with the cousins. I would just set myself down on the old barrel chair ( you all know what I'm talking about if you ever spent time in Grandma Maria's kitchen) and chat with Grandma. We lived only blocks away, sometimes the bus dropped me off at Grandma's bus stop. I would spend the night, she would stay over. When I was out of the hospital, I stayed with Grandma. When mom was sick she practically lived with us. When I went away to college and I grew homesick, I called Grandma. I have a 14 second voicemail on my phone with her voice. I can't tell you how many times I have played it and how angry I am at myself for deleting the other 4 I had hoarded away but finally discarded because my voicemail box was full. Her pet name for me was the same nickname that she had as a girl, Mariquita- ladybug. When she called me or even in person she would sing the first verse of the old song by the same name to me. I loved that. There are so many songs with the name, Maria in them and people would sing them to me like a joke and I never liked it. But to grandma I was Marquita and I loved hearing her sing our name. I felt so special, WE shared that. When Mom passed sometimes she would slip and call me Rosa or Rosie. She would refer to my aunts and uncles as my sister or brother and my grandma as my father. I think she felt bad at first like maybe I thought she forgot who I was and she would say, "Ah, but that's not you. Here I go. That's your mama. I'm sorry little girl." The thing is I didn't mind. Because at that moment I still had a mother and it all felt so normal and whole again. I'll never have that again. I know that she is at peace I thought that that would be enough to get me through but I miss her.

Grandma, we love you and we will always cherish all our memories we have together. From Antonio, Joyce , Adam, Jayson and Elaina.
