Mary Helen Sager

On October 3, 1925, Mary Helen Bell Sager was born in Texarkana, Arkansas to George and Zorabelle Bell. She went to school in Herrin, Illinois where she med Harold Bud Sager, Sr. They eloped on Christmas Eve, and got married on Christmas Day, December 25, 1942..They had one child, Harold Sager, Jr, who was born on January 8, 1944, who is now living in Anchorage, Alaska, disabled and a retired Operating Engineer from Local 12, Southern California.

Mary is survived by her only child and son, Harold Sager, Jr., Grandsons Steven and Kenneth Sager, Granddaughter Cheryl Ewing , Great Grandsons Andrew Roper, Jordan Michael Roper, Matthew Evans , Curtis Bud Evans , Sasha Nicole Sager, Kenneth Allen, Jr. and many great-great grandchildren, and her cousin Harold Ray Bell.

Mary arrived in Alaska, August of 2004 where she lived with her son and daughter-in-law, who took care of her for 4 years, until the doctors recommended that she needed 24-hour care and lived at Prestige Care for 5 years..The Prestige Care and Staff took excellent care of her and loved her dearly until her passing on November 11, 2014 at the age of 89. Viewing and Visitation will be at Miller-Jones in Perris, California on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:15 with a Witness Burial at 1:00 P.M. at Staging Area #5, Riverside National Cemetery, where she will be buried next to the love of her life, Harold Bud Sager, Sr.
