Mary Lou Kemp Freeman, 72, of Spartanburg, SC, formerly of Hemet, CA, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012, at her home. She was born on November 17, 1939 in Garden Grove, CA, she was the daughter of the late Roy Samuel Kemp, Sr. and Katherine Mae Forshay Kemp and widow of Raymond Francis Freeman.
She retired from Redmans Homes and attended Brookwood Church.
Survivors include son, Theodore Alfred Menard, Jr. of Moreno Valley, CA; daughters, Mary Elizabeth Jones and Susan Jeanette Smith, both of Spartanburg, SC, Catherine Antoinette Tuschhoff of Oceanside, CA, and Theresa Lynn Gibson of Hemet, CA; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, James Eugene Kemp of Portland, OR,; cousins, Mary Hale, Leona Harrison, and Ronald Renfro and their families. She was predeceased by a brother, Roy Samuel Kemp, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at McWane Family Funeral Home, 350 N. San Jacinto St., Hemet, CA
Graveside service will follow at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA. at 1:01 PM in staging area #5.
