Born in Riverside California, she entered into this life the daughter of the Guadalupe and Maria Navarro. Mary blossomed and had a wonderful childhood. At 16 years of age she met, fell in love and married her 17 year old soulmate Peter Ortega. Mary and Peter had four wonderful children together and we're inseparable. They would laugh, have fun with the family and would go on camping trips to Twin Peaks and vacation in Lake Tahoe regularly. It wasn't always easy but they stayed together in marital bliss for almost 73 years. Mary loved Peter, her children and grand-children deeply and there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for them.
Mary is preceded in passing by her parents Guadalupe and Maria, her brother, Raymond Navarro. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Peter Ortega, daughter, Ramona Ortega, son, Ralph Ortega, son, Peter Ortega, Jr., son, Paul Ortega, one sister, Reina Navarro, nine grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary is loved by her family and friends and will await for the day that we see and hold her again
