Mary Poisson, age 98, of Hemet, CA, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Citrus Court in Hemet, CA. She was born and raised in Fall River, MA before moving to Riverside County in 1965.
She was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother of two sons. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Her signature dishes were kale Portuguese soup and Portuguese sweet bread. She was also an active member of the Queen of Angels Church in Idyllwild and St. Anthony's Church in San Jacinto.
She is survived by her two sons Frank G. Maitoza and Victor T.(Lorraine) Poisson, Jr., sister Amelia Marusa, one grandson Joel (Bella) Maitoza
