

Michael (Mokie) Bishop at the age of 70, passed away Thursday, October 8th, 2020, at his home in Hemet, CA. Born Friday, September 29, 1950 St. Louis, Missouri to his belated parents Melvin and Bernice Bishop.
He was married to Carlina Bishop for 25 years. They would have been celebrating 26 years of marriage in December 22. Michael was a kind hearted man, with a great sense of humor. He was very well liked, and he would talk to anyone that would listen about the bible and bible verses. Michael enjoyed riding on his Harley Davidson, which led him to be a part of a couple of groups. Faith Riders, and Oklahoma Deaf Bikers Club. He was involved with the Toy Run that was held the first week of December that would involve 25,000 to 50,000 Bikers (A.B.A.T.E.). Mokie attended Missouri School for the Deaf, in Fulton, MO, Oklahoma School for the Deaf, in Sulphur, OK. He also attended Riverside Community College, in Riverside, CA for 3 years.
Mokie loved his family very much and loved celebrating over the holidays. His favorite Baseball team was St. Louis, Cardinals, and his favorite Football team was Arizona, Cardinals. He also love his College Football, favorite teams Missouri University Mizzou Tigers, and Ok University Boomer Sooners.
Michael is survived by His wife Carlina; His 3 sons, Jeremy, Jaime, and Joseph; 2 step children, Shana Cochran, and Christopher Carnes; sisters, Janice Rankin, and Sue McPherson; 10 Grandchildren, Kaleb, Kristyn, Kameron, Lily, Brooke, Ryder, Autumn, Oliver, Kash, and Jaxon; 2 Great Grandchildren, Karsyn, and Kenderix.
He will truly be missed by all that loved him.
