Michael Patrick Flaherty

Michael Patrick Flaherty, 54, of Menifee, California passed away peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2019, at his residence in Menifee, California. He was born Sunday, March 21, 1965 in Michigan, he grew up in the Imperial Valley with all his siblings. After graduating high school in 1983, Michael joined the Army where he served four dedicated years for his country stationed in Germany. He loved his sports and was an on-again-off-again Rams and Chargers fan as the two teams moved around. Michael was a desert rat and loved his toys, being outdoors, hunting, and was adventurous. Michael met the love of his life, Jaimi Sorum and took her hand in marriage in 2014, sharing 5 loving years together. He was goofy, outgoing, loved to joke, generous to all and a very hard worker as he wanted to give his family the world. Michael will be dearly missed by all who loved him. He leaves behind his loving wife, Jaimi Flaherty, daughter, Jordan Flaherty, mother, Charlotte Wooding, many siblings, and a ton of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Rebecca Flaherty.

The family will receive friends for a viewing from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Monday, October 21, 2019, at Miller-Jones Mortuary - Sun City, 26770 Murrieta Road, Sun City, California.

A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Monday at Miller-Jones Mortuary - Sun City located at 26770 Murrieta Road Sun City, California 92586. Immediate following the service will be a reception to celebrate Michael’s life.
