Born Wednesday, April 14, 1965, in Oakland, Ca. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Harrell and Jimmie Johnson. Monique loved life and all that it had to offer. She lived selflessly and was always kind-hearted to all she came in contact with.
Monique shared her love and compassion for God with children at church as she taught Sunday school and shared her love for music, singing at church. She had a forgiving and understanding heart and did not believe in holding grudges, however, had a sense of humor and joking way about her. Monique carried God's love in her and it was reflected in every one of her relationships. The fruits of the spirit transcended through her character. We are truly grateful for the time God in all of his sovereignty blessed us with her beautiful laugh and radiant smile. She was an amazing mother, honorable aunt, gracious cousin and patient friend. She fought the good fight, she completed her race, She kept her faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Dishanah Jackson and Brothers Jesse Johnson, Eric L. Johnson and Arnold Johnson. Sisters Brenda Britton and Juana Diane Johnson and friends who will miss her daily.
