She married Eugene Price on March 1st, 1960 and they were blessed with three wonderful children: John, Rachelle, and Patrick. She also had seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Inspired by her time as a Candy Striper from 1958-1959, and following her calling as a stay-at-home mother, Patricia obtained her EMT license and became an ambulance attendant and worked with the Idyllwild Fire Department. She then received her Licensed Vocational Nursing degree and worked in that field for 15 years.
Patricia was confirmed into the Catholic Church in 2002, and she enjoyed regularly attending mass, as well as volunteering as a Parish Nurse for the church.
All who knew Patricia, known as Patty to those close to her, knew her as a selfless, kindhearted woman. She was a light to all, always giving, never with expectation. She was sassy at all of the right moments, but never mean-spirited. She was dearly loved, and will be sorely missed.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Patty’s name to The Alzheimer’s Foundation at alz.org.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday February 15, 2020 at Miller-Jones Hemet Mortuary located at 1501 W Florida Ave Hemet, California 92544. Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA at a date and time to be determined.
