Patricia Ann Rees of Hemet, California, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016. She was born on Sunday, February 15, 1942 in Oakland, California. Patricia is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Bill L. Rees, four children – Saundra Parlee, Rhonda (Stuart) Owens, Beverly (Rick) Bartlett and John (Judy) Rees, three sisters – Shirley (Clifford) Gillit, Karen (Ed) Abner and Betty Cooper, 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Patricia had a knack for making friends wherever she went and is cherished by so many. She taught Country and Western dancing, and was a member of the Tailor Made Dancers who competed in a California State competition in 1989 and placed 1st in Waltz. Patricia and Bill traveled together throughout the United States in their RV from 2001 to 2015, until settling down in their home in Hemet.
Patricia was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege to know her. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
