Born Sunday, November 5, 1922 in Bucklin, Kansas to the late Oscar Maxwell Olsen and Violet Gordon Jackson-Olsen.
Rachel was a homemaker and loved caring for her family. She was a God fearing woman, and a longtime member for over 35 years at Community Christian Church. Rachel enjoyed attending church services, going out to lunch with friends, working on jigsaw puzzles, and word searches.
Surviving are sons, Gary Lee Harvill (Laura) and David Allen Harvill (Jackie), daughter-in-law, Kathy Harvill, sister, Katherine Wyche, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Good Shepherd Cemetery located at 8301 Talbert Ave. Huntington Beach, California 92646. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery, Huntington Beach, CA.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Miller-Jones Hemet Mortuary, 1501 W Florida Ave , Hemet, California.
