Surrounded by family and in the arms of God, Raymond passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California. Raymond was born on June 5, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan to his late father Oscar Rosario Chamberlain and late mother Marie Anna Bella Oullette. At the age of five, Raymond and his family moved to Southern California where he was raised with his siblings, his late sister Rita Elizabeth Chamberlain Williams, late brother Richard Paul Chamberlain, and brother Robert Chamberlain.
Raymond graduated from Norwalk High School, class of 1961. When Raymond was 22 years old, he married his late wife, Agnes Chamberlain (Ontivers). They raised their two children, Richard Chamberlain and Heidi Chamberlain Jungk (Michael).
In 1999, he married Sharon Chamberlain (Duberville). They spent the past twenty amazing years together, with the last five years at Four Seasons in Hemet.
Raymond retired from Northrop Architectural Systems in the City of Industry, in 1986 and began his career in Real Estate. He worked for Century 21 and for Carousel Realty in the Covina area until he moved to Hemet, CA, when he and Sharon fully retired.
Raymond was an extraordinary human being, who loved life to the fullest. He loved traveling, gardening, playing games on the computer, bingo and cards. Ray loved people. He was always the life of the party. He never met a stranger. He would spend hours talking to friends and family on the phone. Raymond was an amazing, loving and devoted father, husband, grandfather and friend. He was loved by all who knew him and will be in our hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made, in his honor, to the Four Seasons Sunshine Club.
