

Richard Allen Abram Sr. was born on May31,1946 to James and Betty Clark in the city of Pascagoula, Mississippi where he grew up. He attended High school in Pascagoula where he graduated in the top of his class.
Richard met his wife Velma in 1965 and it was love at first sight. When he first met her he told her she would be his wife and sure enough two weeks later they were married and began their life journey together of over 50 years of marriage
In 1967 he decided to move his wife and then two kids from Mississippi to California and ending up making his home in the city of Rialto. He worked as a pipe fitter for Kaiser Steel for many years and later retired from the city of Beaumont as a driver. In 1992 he moved to Hemet- San Jacinto Valley area which is where he currently resided.
In 1971 him and his wife dedicated their life to Jehovah and was baptized in Los Angeles at Dodgers Stadium. His main purpose to life was serving Jehovah first and foremost and making sure to take care of his wife and his 9 children. The friends from the congregation would always joke around with him and say he had a baseball team.
He was an elder and pioneer in the San Jacinto East Congregation. Regardless of where he was at he always found a way to minister to people whether it was formal or informal. He always wanted people to make their own decisions and make the truth their own.
Richard loved fishing especially deep sea fishing, dancing, spending time with his family and going on cruises. He loved cruises so much he was always eager to get a big group together and all go. He had traveled to many places including Hawaii, Mexico and the Bahamas.
Preceding him in death are his parents James and Betty Clark, one great grandkid Keiyasha, one brother Donald Abram, one brother in law Robert Fantroy, one special aunt Vivian Wilson, three uncles W.T. Williams, Joe Williams and Alfred Mc Nare.
Richard leaves behind a loving wife of 50 years Velma Abram, nine kids, Richard Allen Abram Jr., La Shawn ( Ray) Coleman, Samuel (Tonya) Abram, David Abram, La Rue Abram, La Rae (Daniel) Kreitz, James Abram, La Rolla Abram, Mortez (Amanda) Abram, sixteen grandkids, Candice, David II, Keith II, Samuel Jr. ,Keijoun, Davon, Keinya,Demetrius, Denesia, Samson, Solomon, Daniella, Daniel Jr., Malakai, Barry III, La Rissa, two great grandkids, Harlym, Cody, two sisters, Mary Abram Fantroy, Idell (James) Odom, two brothers James ( Dorothy) Abram, Robert ( Burt) Millender, one aunt Irma McNare and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,family members and friends.
