Richard Carl Bergstrom, 77, of Hemet, California, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at home. He was born on Saturday, August 23, 1941, and he was the son of the late Carl Bergstrom and Lucille (Anderson) Bergstrom. Richard was married to the love of his life, Cynthia for over 47 years. Richard served in the Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked as a truck driver for over 40 years. When he was not on the road he could be found fishing at his favorite spot Lake Mead in Nevada. He also loved to play poker, go to estate sales to look for treasures and just stop by to visit with friends. His family describe Richard as being very outgoing, hard worker and he had a dee belly laugh. Richard loved to have the family over at Christmas time and the grand kids over during the summer to swim in the pool. He will be sorely missed by those that knew and loved him. Surviving is his wife Cynthia Bergstrom; sons, Tony Mouton (Jaqueline), and Jason Bergstrom (Tammy); daughter, Jami Schmidt; sister, Cate Patton and 12 grandchildren.
