“Richard Walters, (Scott) 83 of Hemet, California passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 in the comfort of his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born on Friday, December 20, 1935 in New York, and was the son of late George and Adele Walters. He was married to his wife Maria Walters for 17 memorable years and was known to be his Rx. Scott worked for Cal OSHA for over 16 years and enjoyed his job. Scott loved music and attended many festivals. A few of his favorites were the Simi Valley Cajun Festival and Dana Point Blues Festival. He loved to dance, and dance he would. Scott also enjoyed sailing with his son Richard from St. Pete FL to the Bahamas on his sons sailboat. He loved the ocean and enjoyed spending time at the beach watching sunsets with family. Laguna being one of his favorites. His family would describe him as a man with a funny sense of humor, a jokester, story teller, Mr. Fix-it, collector, passionate and always trying to improve himself professionally. Surviving is his wife Maria Walters; sons Richard Walters, Scott Walters and George Tamas; daughters Laine Walters Young and Susan Tamas; grandson Theodore James Walters Young. Services are private.”
