Richard Charles Turull, loved his wing-tip shoes and fedoras that he wore proudly; always the sharp dresser. He was born to Charles and Madeline Turull on Friday, June 25, 1933, and he passed away too soon on Thursday, July 25, 2013 in Indio, California.
Richard, was a proud member of the IBEW -Local 441 from Orange County, California for over 18 years. He also belonged to the VFW, the American Legion and VC35.
Richard was fun loving. Loved to throw and attend any type of party; mango margarita in hand. He enjoyed watching old cowboy movies, camping and fishing. He was a hat collector, having a collection of over 20 various types.
He was loving and supportive to his wonderful wife of 60 years, Angelina. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. His family recalls that he loved to joke and make them laugh. He was generous with everyone. Evidence of that is that he loved purchasing tools for his son-in-laws, who he considered sons. If he saw a unique tool, he bought it for each of them, they had to have it!!!
Richard will be dearly missed by his beautiful wife Angelina, and their three children; daughters Diana Lynn and her husband Rich; Tina Turull, and Norma Jewell and her husband Robert. He will also be missed by his four grandchildren Liana, husband Dave, Brandi, husband Cody, Ashley and grandson, Cody. Also feeling a great loss will be his sister, Barbara Lussier.
Richard Turull touched many lives; he never met a stranger. He will be truly missed by all those who were honored to know him and who loved him.
