Robert L. Groves, 91 of San Jacinto, California passed on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California. He was born on Tuesday, June 20, 1922 and was the son of the late Orange and Aida Groves. He was married to Georgia Groves for over 31 years. Robert was well educated with three Masters Degrees and he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Fraternity and an honor student. He was a police officer for over 20 years. Robert and Georgia loved to camp and enjoyed driving their RV all over the western United States. Robert was an avid reader and his topic of choice was politics. He loved dogs and had many over his life time. Robert also was a Therapist and owned Agape Counseling in Hemet for over eight years. His family describes him as loving, trust worthy, highly intelligent and devoted to Georgia and his family. Preceded in death was his sister Margaret Carlson. Surviving is his wife Georgia Groves, son, Bradley Gibbs, daughter, Sharon Gibbs, grand children, Eric and Lisa Weiher.
