Robert attended Fontana High School, where he excelled in football. He moved to Lake Providence, Louisiana, where he worked as a landscaper and continued to keep his soul and body healthy. In1988 he moved back to southern California and lived until his death. He kept his faith thru all his trials and tribulations. Robert will be remembered for his love of Jesus.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Felicia Evans, Vernon Evans and Robert Edwards; 13 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Linda, Mariette, Anderson, Danny and Matthew and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory - Perris, 1835 N. Perris Blvd., Perris, California, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 1, 2015. Funeral service will follow at Miller-Jones Mortuary - Perris at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 1, 2015.
