Passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020 in Redlands, California; he was born on August 12, 1937 in Alhambra, California to the late Gabriel and Pauline (Grover) Murphy.
He was a plant foreman for Western Metal Decorating Co. for 34 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, camping and boating and in his day, water skiing.
He is survived by his loving wife Carol Murphy; his children, Diana (Greg) Dowden and Kenneth (Lisa) Murphy; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He will be laid to rest at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
