

Surrounded by family, Ruby Eliga Felix-Howard, 73, went home to be with the lord on March 15, 2019, at her residence in San Jacinto, California. Ruby was born May 12, 1945, in Bowie County, Texas to her late father J.B Eliga and late mother Mildred (Richardson) Eliga.
Ruby, was joined in Holy Matrimony to Alex Felix, a union of 20 years, she then married Tyrone Howard who she spent many wonderful years with. Ruby was one of the Pillar of the Richardson, Felix- Howard, and many other families that came into her life. She was the life of the party with her charisma, positive attitude and beautiful smile. Ruby was also a fighter, her last six months she had been struggling with Kidney Failure and was decreasing daily until Jesus said it was her time to go home to Glory. In 2005 Ruby started attending the Friendship Christian Fellowship Church under the leadership of Pastor Art Wooten, where she was saved, sanctify, and filled with the Holy Ghost. She worked in various occupations dealing with duties for government, caregiving, and other occupations dealing with CAL Grants for college students.
Preceded in her death was her father, mother, and her brother John Barton Eliga. She was survived by her brother Anthony R. Eliga, her amazing son Richard Jerome Harper (Marian), her beautiful grandchildren Brandon H. Nakeisha H., Amorita H., Julia A., Zurikka H., Rickia H., her wonderful great grandchildren; Caila W., Alai T., Alyzza R., Javontai H., Kamren A., Julian J., Brandon H. Jr., Jayden A., Brooklyn H., Tevon P., Jamarion T., Joseph H., Bryan J. Jr., Bria J., and Dakarri M. She was also survived by many loved uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and co worshipers. Ruby was a beautiful soul who was loved and will be missed by many.
