Sammie Leon Stokes, age 86, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away, Thursday, October 15, 2020, in Moreno Valley, California. He was born in Beaufort, South Carolina on March 23, 1934 to the late Booker T Stokes and the late Annie Mae Stokes.
Sammie serviced his country honorably in the Air Force. After his dedicated service in the Air Force, he worked for the United States Post Office and retired after 40 years of employment. Sammie will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Those left to cherish his memory are loving wife, Anne Stokes; sons, Robert Stokes and Clinton Stokes; grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
