Samuel Howard Grigsby

Sam was born on Aug 1, 1960 to Howard and Willena (De Whitt) Grigsby and raised in Chico C.A. He graduated from Pleasant Valley high school and attended college in the state of Washington. On May 30, 2009, he married Frances M. Bernatene and became an insta father of 5, 3 boys and 2 girls. In June of 2013 the the Lord blessed him with the second love of his life, Samantha Daniella Grigsby.

Sam, first and foremost, was truly a God fearing, hard working, selfless, and humble man who loved his family and put their needs above his own. He is preceded in death by his father, Howard and his brother Dan. He is survived by his wife Frances, his six children, Eddie (Tracey), Elizabeth (Ryan), Brittany, Adam, Nicholas and Samantha, four grandchildren, Jacob, Cain, Caleb and Leah, his mother, Willena, his sister Nancy (Martin), his brother Stephan (Donna), five nieces, three nephews, six great-nephews, three great-nieces and many cousins.

A memorial service will be at 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Miller-Jones Sun City Chapel located at 26770 Murrieta Road Sun City, California with the Pastor Garland Gauthier officiating.

Interment will be in Perris Valley Cemetery , Perris, California.

A celebration of a beautiful life will be held on Saturday, September 21, at 1:30pm at the Susanville Church of the Nazarene, 1825 Spring Ridge Dr 96130
