

Sandra Lee Griffin, Mother, Grandmother, Theologian who loved horses, sewing, watching football and views of the mountains, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, California. She was born in Gillette Wyoming on Sunday, December 11, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Doyle Cristi and June Wilson. She loved to read and study the bible and was a member of The Dwelling Place in Hemet. She loved and raised her seven children and also ran a day care center. Christmas morning breakfast was a family tradition, where cooking seven pounds of bacon, along with sausage and french toast was not uncommon. Being born and raised in Wyoming, Sandra loved the outdoors, riding her horse, seeing mountain views and undeveloped land. Her family describes her as prayerful, generous, encouraging, persevering, strong, independent, encouraging and hard working. Being so humble, she will never know all the people she touched and impacted. She was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be sorely missed.
Surviving are sons, Ted Muckey (Kathy), Zane Muckey (Debbie), Stacy Muckey ( Colleen), Israel Griffin and Joshua Griffin (Morgan) , daughter, Tara Wisehart (Duane) brothers Blaine Wilson (Suzie), sisters, Kathleen Notaro (Jim) and Leslie Speirs (Bob); 14 grand children; 7 great grand children. She was predeceased by son, Jeff Muckey who passed away in 1996.
