Sandra Humphrey

Sandra Humphrey, age 70 of Sun City, California entered eternal life on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, Born Thursday, October 14, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Oatha Mattox and Mamie Lena Meyers Mattox.

Sandra received her early education and resided in Detroit, Michigan until the age of 38. She then moved to Altadena, California where she pursued her degree in child develpment and met and marriet her husband, john Humphrey. Later they moved to Corona, California where she continued her career with Corona Unified School District until later finishing her career with Menifee School District.

She was lovingly known to everyon as Sandy. Sandy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed traveling, pottery, cooking, shopping and spending time with eher family and friends. Sandy also accepted Christ at an early ae.g

Sandra is survived by her husband, John Humphrey; Mother, Mamie Lena Meyers Mattox; Sister, Latonya (Peter) Douet, son, Damion Mattox, 3 daughters, Monique Mattox, Regina Embry and Katrina Mattox; 2 step-daughters, Jarette Humphrey and Santoni Humphrey, 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other loving family and friends.
