

Scott was born on April 23, 1974 in Covina Ca. and passedaway on September 8th 2010 in Hemet Ca. Survived by his fatherMichael Carlson, mother Marilynn Carlson, Grandmother Dorothy Ensley, FiancéeAmanda Anderson and his Fire Department family. Firefighter Carlson had a long career and a love for public servicedating back to 1995. He was a Volunteer Firefighter at Riverside County fire station 23 and 78. Scott also worked for the United Stated Forest Servicein 2000. In 1998 Scott came to work at the Idyllwild Fire Protection Districtas a Paid Call Firefighter converting to a full time Firefighter/ EMT in 2005.Scott lived in Idyllwild California for most of his life recently moving into his new home in Hemet Ca. Scott was agreat mechanic and loved spending time working on any four wheel drivewith an engine. As a member of the Hemet Jeep club Scott enjoyed every outinghe could attend, his favorite of which would be Moab , Utah . Scottgraduated from Alessandro High School and went onto receive his degree in Fire Science from Mt. San Jacinto College in SanJacinto Ca. Scott also received numerous other Fire related certifications.Scott was named Firefighter of the Year in 2005. Scott worked on numerousWildland Fires throughout California truly enjoying his work. A viewing willbe held on September 11th at the McWane family funeral home 350 N. San Jacinto Street .
