Shirley Jane Campbell, 81, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020, in Hemet, California. She was born on Thursday, August 18, 1938 in Hiawatha, Kansas to her parents, Reuben and Ethel Mellenbruch. Shirley was an only child. In 1966, Shirley married the love of her life, Donald Campbell and together they had one daughter, Jennifer. Shirley worked in the accounting industry and later became a stay at home mother. She was a dedicated wife and a loving mother to her daughter. She was very active in the Lutheran church and was an organist for various churches over the years. In her spare time, she also enjoyed cross stitching. Shirley was very proud of her German heritage and loved travelling to Europe to explore her German roots. Shirley will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Ethel Mellenbruch. Shirley is survived by her husband, Donald Campbell, her daughter, Jennifer (Tony) Archer, and her two grandchildren, Sam and Syd Archer. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
