Sonia Flora Reyes

Sonia Flora Reyes, age 83, of Moreno Valley, California, passed away, Wednesday, June 11, 2014, in Moreno Valley, California. She was born on Monday, October 27, 1930 in Puerto Rico to the late Narciso Garcia and the late Maria Engracia Rodriguez Garcia. She was the loving wife of Mario Reyes for over 50 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. The love and life lessons she shared with her family and friends will forever be cherished.

Those left to mourn her passing, but cherish her memory is her husband, Mario Reyes; daughter, Arleen Lopez Robinett and son-in-law, Rick Robinett; son, Burt Mendez; grandchild, Lisa Robinett VanAuken and husband, Jayson VanAuken; great-grandchildren, Jayke VanAuken, Reagan VanAuken and Ryleigh Jo VanAuken; sister, Rosalia Ramos and a host of other family members and friends. Sonia was preceded in death by her parents, Narciso and Maria Garcia and son, Alvin Lopez.

Arrangements are entrusted to Miller-Jones Moreno Valley Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley, California, where the family will receive friends on Monday, June 23, 2014 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 25075 Cottonwood Ave., Moreno Valley, California, 92553 on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
