Vernon Holden Peterson, 84, of Hemet, CA, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011, at Hemet Valley Medical Center in Hemet, CA. Mr. Peterson proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Hemet Masonic Lodge #615, Ramona Shrine Club, Scottish Rite, Hemet Elks Lodge #1740, El Bekal Shriners, Anaheim, Ca and Seven Hills Bandits and enjoyed golfing and traveling the world. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joanne Peterson; daughter, Nikki Jo Ahrens of Colfax, CA; son, Kim Blake of San Jose, CA; two grandchildren, Amber Marie Tristan and Amber Blake Ahrens; and one great-grandchild, Ryan Ann Tristan.
