Born Monday, August 13, 1934 in Seneca, Kansas she was the daughter of the late Charles E. Townsend and Alma M. Crane Townsend.
She was employed by Alpha Beta and worked as a retail clerk for 20 years.
Virginia enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening, and occasionally enjoyed going to the casino.
Surviving are sons, Jimmy N. Henry of Buffalo, WY, Roger L. Henry and Douglas W. Henry, daughter, Denise J. Jackson, brothers, Chuck Townsend and Frankie Bill Townsend, sisters, Loraine Rice and Charlene Still, 9 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren
