

Wayne Douglas Johnson, 70 of Hemet, California passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at home. He was born Saturday, October 13, 1945, and he was the son of the late Gordon and Virginia (Rose) Johnson. He worked in the printing business as a pressman for over 30 years on many different publications. Wayne moved to Cherry Valley where he purchased a ranch. He loved working the ranch with his five horses, one of his favorite was Lady and Resigeen. Wayne will also be missed by his dogs Rufus and Oreo. He rented out many stalls to friends and neighbors because he had the space. Wayne also enjoyed the river and was known to spend a lot of time there. At home, he loved to watch movies with his surround sound at maximum so he could experience the movie despite the neighbors blessings. A true outdoors man, Wayne liked to fish and reflect on life. His family describes him as loving, caring , generous and giving. He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him. Surviving is his daughter, Brenda Quaintance, son Robert Johnson, sister Judy Schlenker and brother Jim Rowell and his wife Delores, grandchildren Tysen Quaintance, Kalyn Quaintance, Robbie Johnson Jr, Amanda Johnson, Charles Gibson and James Johnson, great grandchildren Tyler Quaintance and Trent Quaintance. Services will be private.
