William Eugene Krouse

Gene passed peacefully away on Jan.4,2013, after a lengthy stay

@ San Jacinto Healthcare Facility.

Mr. Krouse was born on Sept. 29,1918, in Pryor, Oklahoma, and the youngest of 4 children to Kim & Melvie (Steele) Krouse.

Gene was a young man, when the family moved to Ca. and worked hard @ many different jobs to survive.

He later owned and operated many businesses, the last being Love’s Drapery in Oceanside.,

He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Youel (Buck) Krouse, Richard (Tiny) Krouse, sister, ( Josephine) (Krouse) Brown and niece, Renae (Paul) Oberdorf.

He leaves his beloved wife, Rachael Arlene (Lene), children; Claudia, William Jr., Gerald and 4 nephews; Douglas Brown (Jackie) of Santa Maria,

Bob Krouse (Barbara) of Aguanga, Bill (Judy) Krouse of Hemet, Larry Krouse, grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

Gene & Lene, loved to travel, making close friendships with other RV folks, and always entertained family and friends alike, with his great sense of

humor, and wonderful stories of times gone by.

Gene was the last of that era in our family, and will be greatly missed.

He will privately be laid to rest @ Riverside Memorial National Cemetery.
