Mr. Bill was a man of many parts, he was well known and loved by many. He was known as many things, by many people- he was a son, brother, uncle, cousin, husband, father, father in law, grandfather, rib champ, fisherman and teller of epic dad jokes. You could always catch him watching his beloved Dodgers or old black and white tv shows- where he could tell you who the characters were, what other movies they were in and who the cast was related to. He loved history and would always enjoy imparting his knowledge to those who would listen. He was an old time cowboy in his earlier years and that sense of adventure never left him. Through the years he has done many things and has helped raise his children with drive and purpose… Not to mention a spirit of love. He always loved, always gave and always believed in the best of others. In his last days he got to enjoy the most epic Dodgers baseball game in San Diego where the game lasted 16 innings… Much like the Dodgers, Mr. Bill showed a will to go extra innings for those he loved and cared for. The night he passed, he did it his way- in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family. Although he will be forever missed he will always be remembered as a man who took the time to make sure you knew you were special… We have peace knowing his health and body has been restored and he is back with his family members who have gone before him including his son Dean. As we patiently wait to meet him again, we continue the legacy he left behind, wrapped in the love, trust and patience he had for others.
