Wynn was born to Bob and Jane Harris on February 12, 1969 in Ocala, Florida and spent the first 11 years of his life on horse farms in Florida and Tennessee before moving to Hemet in 1980. He graduated from Hemet High School in 1987 and in January, 1988 began a 28 year hairdressing career in the Hemet-San Jacinto Valley that lasted until his death.
He was funny, outgoing, honest and a loyal friend. And he truly loved getting up and going to work, looking forward to what each day would bring with his beloved clients.
He loved to travel, play roulette and find new places to eat, especially in Palm Springs where he had hoped to one day retire.
He met his husband, Crist, in October, 2000 and was proud to be the step-father to their 3 children. Becoming a grandfather nearly 7 years ago was a thrill and he loved reading stories to his grandchildren, not necessarily following the story but giving it that special "Grandpa Wynn" touch.
Survivors are his husband, Crist P. Thomas of Hemet. Children, Anne (Kevin) Angstenberger, Mary (Beau) Kelsch, and Marc Thomas all of Atlanta, GA. Sister, Lynn (Raymond) Garcia of Spring Creek, Nevada. Grandchildren, Simon, Charlotte, Leopold, Frederick Angstenberger and John Paul Kelsch. And niece and nephews, Tomas, Victoria and Alexander Garcia.
No flowers please at this time. A GoFundMe account has been created to assist with funeral expenses, medical bills and to assist Crist in adjusting to life without his Wynn.
