Al H. Bess

Henderson, NV resident, Al H Bess, age 74, passed away on March 11, 2015. Born in Cedar City, Utah to parents Alfred & Leah Bess (both deceased). Al is also preceded in death by brothers William & Jewel Bess. He is survived by his wife & soul mate Diana Bess of 13 years, also survived by 6 children, James Bess, Lisa Bess, Billie Bess, Angela Gonzales, Ray Anspach, & Kendall Anspach, 15 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren. He lived in Utah to age 18 then joined the U.S. Navy. Al was successfully self employed in his coin operation business, as well as establishing Bess Brothers motorcycle shop with his brother Bill Bess in Henderson NV. He had a one of a kind personality, loved people and was loved by many, he just loved life to its fullest. Some of his passions included fishing, hunting, food, and most of all being involved in Bluegrass music. He was President of So Nevada Bluegrass music society for over 20 yrs. He was an accomplished musician, he sang, played bass, mandolin, and guitar, and the banjo-well not really the banjo!! Visitation Monday March 23, 2015 from 3-7 pm at Palm Mortuary, 8oo So. Boulder Hwy, Henderson NV 702-464-8440. Services Tuesday March 24, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 303 S. Cholla St. Henderson, NV 89015.
