Alberta "Joan" Stemmer, age 88, of Wildomar, California passed, away on Friday, August 6, 2021. Joan was born December 16, 1932 in Los Angeles, California to her parents Albert Charles Ham and Julia Victoria Moore.
Joan raised her three son's as a single mother in Anaheim, California and worked as an accountant for Yamaha Motor Sports for 25 years. She enjoyed golf, sewing, crocheting, knitting and gardening.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband Thorald Stemmer, and son, Thomas Skroch. She is survived by her sons: David, and his wife, Vivian, and Daniel; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and her sister, Jean Bacar.
A funeral service with graveside for Joan will be held Monday, August 30, 2021, beginning at 1:20 PM at the Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005.
