Alice Marion Carmichael was born in Alameda, California to Lorraine Evelyn Crofts and Louis Clay Smith on September 12, 1944.
She married the love of her life, Alexander Carmichael on her birthday in 1972 and they started their family. She was a stay at home mom to her two girls and really enjoyed spending her time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She had a love for stamp and coin collecting which she remained passionate about throughout her life. Her daughter, Joanne, recently joined her in this hobby, even creating an online business together. She also enjoyed watching science fiction movies, playing pool, going out gambling with her daughters, and had a love for Astronomy.
Our mother was a beautiful person with the kindest of hearts. She always thought of others before herself. We thank you mom for always being there for us and our children, for making sure we were loved and safe. We miss your beautiful smile and sweet voice so much. You were the best wife, mom, grandma, and friend a person could have. We are so blessed because you were in our lives. We will think of you every day and carry you in our hearts forever and ever. Rest in Peace Mom, until we see you again. We love you.
