Amelia was married 61 years to Robert Sykes who preceded her in death April 7, 1996.
Amelia lived in Boulder City, NV with Robert 14 years and 2 years after hiss passing. then she moved to Long Beach, California with her granddaughter and her family until her passing. She totally enjoyed the years living with them.
She leaves behind, her daughter Vesta Jean of Boulder City, NV, married to Don Crow, granddaughter, Denise Pasquaye-Gordon, of Long Beach, CA, and her husband Paul Gordon, and great grandchildren, Justin Pasquaye and Benjamin Gordon, a grandson, Robert Crow, of Boulder City, NV and his wife Deni Crow and great grandchildren, Robert Crow, Jr., and Sofia Crow, also two step great grandchildren, Sheila Harris and Heather Gordon, and 2 step great great grandsons, Micheal and Dakota Evans, along with many nieces and nephews.
