Bob Stratton

W. Robert “Bob” Stratton, 73, from Henderson died at home February 1, 2015. Bob was a resident of Henderson since 1956 when he moved here with his family from St. George, UT. He had a Finance Degree and was a stockbroker in Las Vegas for most of his career. He is survived by his wife, Patty, daughter and son-in-law Tricia and Bill Bly and their children Tahnee and Zack Roque, Brandon, Devon, Cameron and Toree Bly all from Henderson; along with his son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Billie Stratton and their daughters Danielle, Samantha, Shelby and Sarah from Mapleton, UT. Bob has a sister, DeAnn Smith from Springfield, OR and brother and sister-in-law Larry and Joy Stratton from Eugene, OR. He was preceded in death by two grandsons, Keenan Bly and Michael Stratton. Services will be held at the Arrowhead Latter Day Saint Chapel (801 Arrowhead Trail, Henderson NV 89002) on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. In place of flowers, donations may be made to the Candlelighter’s Childhood Cancer Foundation of NV, 8990 Spanish Ridge Avenue, Las Vegas, in memory of Keenan Bly. Bob was a loving and talented man. He created beautiful art in wood and glass. His heritage in art and family will not soon be forgotten.
