Pete is survived by a sister, Carol Ingraham, two children, Heather Alexander Wood (Shawn) and Brian S. Alexander (Brooke). He had five grandchildren.
Pete had the perfect job, head custodian at Sue Morrow Elementary School, where he interacted, provided guidance and was loved by all staff and the children at the school. He enjoyed his job, and was sad to have to retire due to his illness.
Pete was the ultimate “big brother” to many people, giving you the shirt off his back and helping anyone who asked, and to those who didn’t ask, but still needed something. He was unapologetically himself, what you see is what you get. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made, in his memory, to the American Cancer Society.
