Caral Wayman Burnside

Caral Wayman Burnside, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by loved ones on December 5th, 2025 at the age of 83. Caral was born on December 15, 1941 in Castledale, Utah to Zola Virginia Rowley and Charles Benjamin Wayman. She married Robert Leroy Burnside on June 27, 1959. They were sealed for all eternity in the Las Vegas Nevada Temple on November 3rd, 1990.

Caral will be missed by all. She loved people dearly and enjoyed helping and serving others (especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren). She loved cooking and sharing her knowledge with everyone. Her fresh berry pies and home-made bread and rolls will certainly be missed.

Caral preceded in death by her husband Robert, her daughter Lisa, her siblings Charles Leland Wayman and Thomas George Wayman, and her two great grandsons. She is survived by her son Robert Michael Burnside (Shela), her daughter Rhonda Lynn Mitchell (Ivan), siblings Virginia Larson, Sue Barclay, Lois Anderson, and John Henry Nickels, 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on on December 15, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 801 Arrowhead Trail, Henderson, NV 89002, Viewing will be from 9:30 am to 10:45 am. and the service will follow at 11:00 AM

Internment will be in Huntington, Utah.

The funeral service will follow at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
