

Charlotte May White, a resident of Las Vegas for 29 years, passed away April 3, 2026. Born in Manhattan, New York, she grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut, with her grandmother, Susie. Charlotte was a graduate of the Bullard Havens Technical Vocational School Class of 1953 and later studied Math, English, and Typing at Butler Business School. Continuing her education, she earned a diploma as a Medical Assistant/Cardiac Technician from Associated Technical College in Los Angeles in 1988 and a certificate in Apartment Management from Los Angeles City College in 1994.
Throughout her life, Charlotte was an active individual. She participated in several 10K and 5K marathons for various health foundations, notably earning a Red, White & Blue Medal at a Griffith Park event hosted by Martin Sheen. In her youth, she was a synchronized swimmer at the North End Boys and Girls Club and played right field for the Warner Brothers Corset & Bra Company women’s softball team. An avid photographer, her award-winning photo of her grandson, Deric, titled “Grandma’s Heart,” was featured by the International Library of Photography.
Her professional career included serving as a Supervisor at the Credit Bureau of Bridgeport and working for 13 years at the Credit Bureau of Santa Monica.
Charlotte married Robert Daniel Thomas White on May 5, 1955. Together, they traveled across the country during his service with the U.S. Air Force and were married for 17 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her mother, Bernice; her sister, Joyce; and her daughter, Susan.
Charlotte is survived by her five children: Robert (Jennifer), Carol, Daniel (Millicent), Stephen (Linda), and Jody. She is also survived by six stepchildren: Brian (Gwen), Samantha (Barry), Keith (Devhonna), Michael (Dana), Nikki (Donald), and Myra, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Palm Henderson Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015, US, on April 24, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location on April 24, 2026, beginning at 3:00 pm
