Christa Hollister

Christine “Christa” Lorraine Hollister of Henderson, NV passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 14, 2023, shortly after celebrating her 32nd birthday. Christa was born to Joe Piele and Dana Hollister on September 19, 1991.

Christa was overflowing with love and embodied joy. She found fulfillment in making others laugh and playing with her son, niece and nephew daily. Christa made lifelong friends in her retail jobs and can be seen in many photos with dozens of friends for over 10 years, a true testament to her friendships. Christa had many quirks and traditions she was known for: flabongos, her glasses always broken, pickle everything, a snort in her laugh, maintaining her naps and attempting to try things in the kitchen she learned on TikTok. Christa loved socializing at raves and outings with the Red Riderz. Christa lived through EDM and country music. She found these events essential and would often travel out of state to see her favorite performers.

Christa is survived by her son, Ethan and the Tellez family, her parents, Joe Piele and Dana Hollister, her sister Nicole Hollister with Talia and Baby Ryan, and her grandparents Barry and Michelle Hollister. Christa always loved a fun party and surely is thrilled looking at the large gathering to honor her life and the joyous memories she has given us. Christa has proven, as she always said, that she truly is popular.
