Colleen Demoure

Colleen was born March 15th, 1946, in Vallejo, California, to Daniel and Irene McGinnis. Collen enjoyed reading, watching old western movies, dancing, fishing, traveling, and plastic canvasing. While visiting with family and friends, Colleen often shared stories from her childhood and spoke highly of her rodeo days barrel racing. Colleen had an impressive career in various casinos of Las Vegas, working as a keno runner, a cocktail waitress, and later in the gift shop of the Hacienda Casino, where she met her late husband, Gary. Colleen displayed an exciting collection of teapots, snowmen, and lighthouses, which she was proud of.

Colleen is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Irene McGinnis; sister, Esther Mendonza; spouse, Douglas Brower; spouse, Gary Demoure; and daughter-in-law, Kris Demoure.

Colleen is survived by her daughter, Kelli Porter (Jamie); stepson, Jeffery Demoure; six grandchildren: Amber (Dustin), Shad (Natalie), Sean (Kira), Tristan, Ellory, Cooper; and five great-grandchildren: Jace, Felix, Zara, Zakery, and Zennon.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 20th, 2024, at 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will immediately follow from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Palm Mortuary, located at 800 S Boulder HWY, Henderson, NV 89015.
