

David T. Miller, age 90, of Boulder City and Cal Nev Ari, Nevada, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. He was born January 31, 1931 in Aiden, India and spent his youth in Karachi, Pakistan. Moving to London, England; David received his diploma and certification from Cambridge University, the College of Aeronautical Engineering, London; and the Royal Aeronautical Society.
In the early years of the U.S. "space race", David was instrumental in adapting analog computers, and later, digital computers, for the design and simulation of the aircraft and space vehicle propulsion and control systems in tandem with major major aerospace corporations and and branches of the military, including telecomputing corporation RCA, GE and the U.S. Navy.
His intense involvement with complex mechanical devices led to his half-century dedication to all things horological. David was committed to spreading the message of horology, the science of timekeeping, even launching an international publication called "Clockwise".
David is survived by his wife, Carole Ann and his son, Paul (Barbara).
Memorial services for David will be held Monday, January 31, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015, followed by a refreshments from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
