Dionisio Mejia

Dionisio "Dino" Mejia, age 98, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 in Las Vegas. Dionisio was born on October 8, 1925 in El Molino, Zacatecas, Mexico. He met and married Maria Patrocinio Villalpando on June 5, 1949.

Dionisio was a man of all trades, from a pottery craftsman to a business owner. He had a passion for bowling, gardening, cooking, and his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Patrocinio; his father Jorge Mejia, his mother Francisca Sepulveda de Mejia; siblings Ascencion, Matias, Felipa, Juana, and Basilia; and his great granddaughter Briana. He is survived by his children, Agustin (Rosa), Roberto (Maricela), Jorge (Donna), and Cecilia (Giovanni); his grandchildren, Agustin Jr., Monica, Rachel, Christian, Robert Jr., Jonathan, Arlene, Cecilia Elizabeth, Giovanni Jr., and Amanda; and his great grandchildren Melody, Caylee, Jonathan, Isabella, Jacob, Leo, Eli, Liam, and Maddie.

A viewing and rosary for Dionisio will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. A funeral mass will occur Friday, October 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Peter the Apostle, 204 S Boulder Hwy, Henderson, NV 89015. A committal service will occur Friday, October 11, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary & Cemetery, with a reception to follow from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
