Don (Binky to family and other loved ones) left to grieve his passing his son: Derrick V of Henderson, NV, father: Donald Sr. (Corrine), of Newark DE, mother: Frances L of Henderson, NV, brother: Derrick B (Susan) of Boulder City, NV, cousin that he claimed as his big brother: Dwight A (Thomasina) of Claymont DE, 7 aunts, 1 uncle and a host of cousins and friends.
Don served 12 years in United States Air Force. He spent 21 years with the North Las Vegas Police Department where for about 5 years he was known as "Juice" on a Special Forces unit. He loved camping with his family and close friends. He was an avid music buff especially music of the 50's, 60’s and 70's. His favorite artist was Sam Cooke, whom he tried to imitate in karaoke spots around Las Vegas and Boulder City.
