Donna Bristol Schmidthuber

Donna Bristol Schmidthuber, age 85, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021. She was born March 1, 1936 in Sioux City, Iowa to her parents Evelyn and Harold Bristol. Donna was married for 23 years to John F. Schmidthuber, who passed away in 1985. She had 9 Children: Cheryl, and her husband Perry, John, Mark; Mike, and his wife Pamela; Anthony "Tony" and his beloved wife Valerie, Eric, Theresa, Victoria, and Evelyn; 14 Grandchildren: Donna, Will, Mike, Tomi, Eric, Aris, Joseph, Cristopher, John, Christian, Charity, Keely, Ellis, and Jaden; 13 great-grandchildren: John, Nick, Bradley and his wife Sydney, Tori, Mike, Zander, Christian, Austin, Aviana, Aisley, Kyle, and Kaylee; and 2 great-great-grandchildren: Luna and Bjorn.

Donna was an amazing mother, friend, and person; who is going to be so greatly missed. She was a devoted mother and worked hard all her life to provide for her children in life’s hardest seasons on her own. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, always put her children first above all, and had a great love for the lord. She loved to sing, crochet, cook dinner for her family, and was an amazing baker. She was very quick-witted and never hesitated to tell you the truth; you always knew where you stood with her.

A mass is being held in remembrance for her on December 11th 2021; and a celebration of life will be held for her in the first part of December for her family and friends
