Emilie Marie Girten

Emilie was born on November 25th, 1997, in Phoenix, Arizona, to her parents, Dionea Girten and David Girten.

Emilie is survived by her mother, father, brother Joshua, sister Abagail, grandmother Sally, her nieces Rylynn and Westlynn, nephews Lane and Jaxon, 21 cousins, 23 second cousins, 5 uncles, and 5 aunts. Emilie was preceded in death by her grandpa Sonny , Grandma Lou. Great grandma Jean and her godmother Holly.

Emilie was known for her genuine heart and spunky attitude—one may say she was a spitfire. She used this to her advantage to face life head-on and handle whatever came her way. She was the one who cared, she noticed, and she always showed up. Her generosity came naturally; even in the most difficult times, she found ways to bring comfort to those around her.

A natural caretaker, Emilie lived with compassion at the center of everything she did. Becoming a certified phlebotomist and medical assistant, beginning her nursing education was a path that seemed meant for her. She was intelligent and excelled in her schooling, remembered the little details, and had a thoughtful approach to everything she set her mind to. Her strength was inspiring. She enjoyed being the best auntie Em&Em and she loved her Brother and sister endlessly spending as much time with them as possible, creating stunning makeup looks, reading, and spending time with her loved ones.

Emilie will be remembered for her kind heart, her comfort, and being someone who helped hold people together.

Her absence leaves a deep and lasting void in the lives of all who loved her.

A Visitation for Emilie will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Palm Henderson Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway Henderson NV, 89015 with service to follow from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and graveside service at Palm Henderson Cemetery, 800 S. Boulder Highway Henderson NV, 89015 at 3:00 PM. Immediately after the burial will be a Dinner at 244 Polar Morn Place Henderson, Nevada 89074.
